| We at High Desert Drifters take great pride in our camps. To maximize your comfort
while on the river and to ensure a quality camp, a separate gear boat goes ahead to
select and set up camp. When you arrive at each camp you will find it comfortable and
welcoming. Just as the fishing changes through the season so does our camp. Early sun, a
cool breeze, the river view, good sunset - each camp is set up to make camp-time as
enjoyable as possible. Besides a complete kitchen, there is a separate dining area with a
bar and a dressed table for a gourmet dinner. The bar will be stocked with ice, water and
hors d’oeuvres. For those wanting to freshen up before dinner a hot shower will be waiting.
Wine is served with dinner, which is timed to allow for the evening hatch or swing session.
Sleeping quarters complete with cots and stools, are tall walk-in six man tents. There is one
tent for every two people in your party. In the morning you will wake up to fresh fruit and
coffee, followed by a hearty and filling breakfast. Then you are off to another day of fun and
fishing with your guide. All boats will stop together to eat lunch and trade fish stories
before the afternoon hatch.
